I woke up this morning with this phrase in my head.
"Because I'm his friend he tells me his secrets. Because I am his bride he lets me govern those secrets."
Wow. God...in friendship you share your heart with me; your burdens, your longings, your insights and truths. But in bridal partnership you share your authority with me to govern those things and bring forth the fruit of that love relationship on the earth. What joy is mine!!!!
John 3:29
"The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom's voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete."
